Curriculum Overview

All students will study the following ‘core’ curriculum;

  • GCSE Religious Education
  • GCSE English Language
  • GCSE English Literature
  • GCSE Mathematics
  • GCSE Combined Science (worth two GCSE’s)

In addition, all students will have one Physical Education lesson per week (non-examination)

In addition to the above subjects, all students will be able to select up to a maximum of four optional GCSE and vocational subjects from the list below;

Students are placed into pathways personalised to their ability profile and offered choices accordingly.  Copies of the Information, Advice and Guidance we offer to students and parents can be viewed by clicking on the tabs below.  Separate boys and girls booklets are a legacy of Key Stage 4 being split across both school sites.  For the academic year 2017/2018 there will be one booklet as all Y10 students will attend the ARDOR site together.
