Rugby World Cup 'Collective Endeavour'

Bradford Catholic Youth Choir - featuring many singers from SBSJ - took centre stage in Leeds' celebration of the Rugby World Cup, performing in Millennium Square Leeds. Artistic Director Nathan Curry selected the choir after seeing their performances in the Llangollen International Eisteddfodd.  The performance, based around the values of collaboration, effort and teamwork involved a cast of over 300, with the choir singing at key moments in the drama.

Choir chosen for international programme

Bradford Catholic Youth Choir are one of six choirs from across the UK to be selected for the Gabrieli Consort and Players' development programme, Gabrieli Roar.  They will be working with singers and conductors from the world-famous Gabrielis for the next year, and as part of the programme will be giving concerts in London and Ely and making a new CD recording in Cambridge.
