Information for Yellow My-Bus users

A bus-only travel card for ages 5 to 18 years old in full-time education.

Children aged 5 to 10 years old pay half fare on most buses and all trains displaying the Metro symbol in West Yorkshire, including Metro school buses. No PhotoCard is required (unless the child looks a lot older!).

However, if your child is a regular bus-only user, School Plus is a great way to save money.

 What do you get?

    • Available as weekly or monthly options.

    • Virtually unlimited bus travel in West Yorkshire at any time, on any day of the week.

    • Great savings for regular bus users.

School Plus MCards are valid on most West Yorkshire buses displaying the Metro logo, including FirstBus.  They can be used at most times of the day, seven days a week.  That makes them better value than some operator special offer tickets, which can only be used at certain times or on certain journeys.

      How much does it cost?

School Plus MCard costs £9.50 per week or £35 per month

Cardholders travelling further than West Yorkshire will have to pay the additional fare at the start of their journey.
