Pilgrimage to Walsingham

Several students and staff from the college recently spent a fantastic weekend on the Diocesan Pilgrimage to the National Shrine or Our Lady at Walsingham in Norfolk. The sun shone throughout and we enjoyed a fish a chip supper before camping out overnight at Fakenham Racecourse. On the Saturday we celebrated mass at noon led by our Bishop Marcus Stock, and after lunch we processed along the Pilgrim Way for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Vespers and Benediction in the Priory Grounds. Despite the long journey there and back, it was a lovely experience for us and we really enjoyed each other’s company in such a beautiful and prayerful setting.
