Trashion Fashion

Trashion Fashion has become an annual event and this year we have had some great outfits and campaign ideas provided by year 7 students. Students were given a project where they had to create an outfit made out of recycled or recyclable materials that was fit for our catwalk on July 14th 2015.

They prepared speeches to explain how they have made the outfit and why sustainability is important.

They also made campaigns based around their ideas for improving the school and making it more sustainable. These ideas are going to be discussed at the next school council meeting. Some include having rewards for forms that recycle the most, starting a trash art club when students used ‘rubbish’ and create artwork that is displayed in the outdoor spaces around the school and more recycling bins around the school as well as buying a new device that prevents us wasting too much water when we used the toilet.
