It is with great sadness that the college received the news of the passing of our former colleague and dear friend Sharon Deegan just over a week ago. Sharon had fought bravely against cancer for the past five years or so before retiring from teaching at the end of the last academic year. Sharon served Catholic education faithfully and with distinction throughout her teaching career. Her passing will not only be mourned by us as her friends and colleagues, but by generations of Bradford students and families whose lives Sharon touched with her kindness, skill, empathy and dedication.
Students and staff will continue to pray for the repose of Sharon’s soul and remember her family and those closest to her as they come to terms with their loss. We pray that in the coming days and weeks and months they are able to remember the joy and happiness that Sharon brought to so many that loved and knew her;
Dear Lord, grant unto her eternal rest, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
