The girls in my form have worked extremely hard preparing a lot of home cooked delights from around the world. These were on sale at break and lunchtime for students and staff to enjoy. In another part of the school girls work very hard by washing cars for staff, at only £2 per car it was a bargain and the girls did a fantastic job. Last but not least Faiza Ahmed headed up a team of dedicated artists doing Henna designs.
All these events were to raise much needed funds for the desperate situation in East Africa. I am extremely proud of them, what they have done shows a lot about the strength of character and empathy that is so often demonstrated by our students.
