Year 11 Graduation Ball

king and queen

On Friday 14th July the young men and women of year eleven celebrated the end of a very busy year by having their Graduation Ball.  Over 200 students and staff filled the McCall suite at Valley Parade, having been dropped off in arange of high class, high profile vehicles, and being welcomed by Mr Oldcorn and Mrs Khan, their progress leaders.

Awards were given out in recognition of their time at St Bede’s and St Joseph’s and we crowned Dylan Silson and Scarlett Hepton our Prom King and Prom Queen.

It was great to catch up with  each other, almost a month after the last GCSE exam, and  be in party mode rather than study mode.  The party lasted until very late, but it was well deserved.  We now look forward to more celebrations the next time most of us meet, GCSE exam results day.
