To finish off a successful season, students were invited to create a game using Scratch. Not everyone made it to the finish line, but we had 6 good quality entries, all of which impressed me with their creativeness, skill and enthusiasm for making games. Undoubtedly there was not enough time – making a game takes a lot of planning, coding, trial and error. If we are able to run this competition again next year, more time will be allocated. There was just the one team entry, but it was a good one. It was extremely difficult to choose the individual winner, but a decision had to be made! These are the results of the competition, based on completeness and playability:
A big thank you to all students who have supported the Coding Club this year and to all competition entrants. Keep on coding – you all have the talent and interest to go far!
