Last week we embarked on our annual year 11 field trip to Castleton. Students undertook a series of investigations for their GCSE Geography exam. At Burbage Brook they did a river study to see how the river characteristics change as the river flows downstream.
Out in Castleton Village they conducted a tourism study to see if tourists were damaging the environment and what impact this may have.
We managed to stayed dry (except a couple who slipped in the river) and everyone worked hard. A good day was had by all.
