Following a recent visit from the Arts Award moderation team I am delighted to report that all 318 portfolios successfully passed their Bronze award. This consisted of the vast majority of year 7 students and all year 11 GCSE Drama students. This will enable a large number of year 7 students to be well on their way to passing their Diploma.
Comments from the feedback forms include:
“Well done on a well organized moderation. The young people have a great opportunity to experience a range of artforms and develop a number of skills.”
“The centre need to be congratulated for the excellent work taking place. There were a number of outstanding portfolios.”
“The Arts Award is clearly being delivered to a high standard.”
“Good, well organized and accurately marked portfolios – the model of delivery works well with such a large number of pupils.”
I want to pass on my congratulations to all the students and Arts staff who have worked so hard to ensure the portfolios were completed to such a high standard.
Fantastic work everyone – next step silver then GOLD!!!
