St Bede’s and St Joseph’s Catholic College is a co-educational school.  The college was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families.  The college is run by its governing body as part of the Catholic Church in accordance with its Trust Deed and instrument of government and seeks at all times to be a witness to Jesus Christ. Whenever there are more applications than places available priority will always be given to Catholic applicants in accordance with the oversubscription criteria listed in the Admissions Policy below. If the number of preferences received is less than the admission number then all preferences will be met.  By applying to this school, parents or carers are declaring their support for the aims and ethos of the school.

Applications for the following year groups, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10 or Year 11, or Year 7 after the normal round of entry, are called in-year applications; these can be made all year round.

As St Bede’s and St Joseph’s Catholic College is a Voluntary Aided Catholic School all In Year Applications come directly to the College. 

You will be notified in writing within 15 school days of the College receiving the completed In Year Application Form of the outcome of your application. The College will inform the Local Authority within 2 school days of the outcome of the application.
