Mental Health Awareness Week
In College this week we are recognising Mental Health Awareness week in a number of ways. Year group assemblies will take place, led by our senior Chatter Buddies to raise awareness of this important issue. This will be alongside our daily collective worship focus that will be delivered during house welcome time, encouraging students to spend time to care for their minds, hearts and relationships.
Staff have also been getting involved by dedicating their prayers during briefing time and using the chapel as a quiet space for prayer and reflection over the course of the week.
Our Welfare team are a constant source of support and champion good mental health and have been ever present this week, reminding students of key places they can go for support. The links below are always available to students and parents alike:

A Prayer for Mental Health Awareness Week
Loving Creator,
In the quiet moments, hold us close.
For every mind carrying unseen burdens,
bring light into the shadows and peace into the storms.
Strengthen those who feel weary,
comfort those who feel alone,
and remind each heart that it is worthy, valued, and loved.
Guide us to be gentle with ourselves and kind to one another.
Help us to listen without judgment,
to speak words that heal,
and to build a world where no one walks through darkness alone.
May hope take root where despair has been,
and may compassion be the language we all speak.
Amen.
