Bradford City Race

On Sunday 30th October a group of staff and students from SBSJ took part in the annual Bradford City Run. Students took part in the 5k race with staff either opting for 5k or 10k. The weather was extremely kind to us and it was a thoroughly enjoyable morning of running. Our students did themselves proud  with all of them finishing the race. A notable staff mention must be made for our own Mr King who blitzed the 5k course in a staggering 20 minutes and 45 seconds.

We also had some of our sixth form students who volunteered to hand out water to the runners. This has been led by Mr Crabtree for many years now and our students were fantastic in keeping the runners hydrated throughout the morning. We were the only school who entered both staff and students in the race and it is a great testament to our school to have supported such a great event for our city.
