The Handmaid's Tale

Year 13 English Literature students attended a sixth form lecture day held at the central Hall in Manchester in order to learn about The Handmaid's Tale. We had a fantastic trip that indulged the aspiring undergraduate students. Students were taught, in great depth, about the satirical, structural and political aspects of The Handmaid’s Tale from multiple perspectives by lecturers from Liverpool John Moores University and Durham University. It was superb quality and extremely useful for our students whose heads are now full of Margaret Atwood’s complex ideas.
